Description
This one-unit January Intersession course will provide students with an introduction to how public relations considerations impact modern litigation. The course will explore the interplay between courts and public opinion, how public relations can impact litigation strategy and what lawyers do in the courtroom. The course will underscore for students that law does not occur in a vacuum and that threats to a client's reputation (whether a corporation or an individual) can be more damaging than legal liability.
