The Residences at 7th
Can you picture it?
Steps from your last class of the day, you walk through the bustling plaza and enjoy the soothing sounds of the courtyard fountain.
From the sunlit Pearl lounge, you take the elevator to your apartment.
You’re home.
A colorful sunset is on view through the tall windows while you get ready to meet your study group for a quick dinner in the Tea Room before an evening of lively discussion on copyright law in the Law Library group study room.
Now you can live it as a resident of Southwestern's exciting on-campus student housing complex, The Residences at 7th.
Southwestern is pleased to offer fully furnished, state-of-the-art apartments to our students. The Residences at 7th includes 133 units ranging from studios to two bedrooms, and can accommodate 152 or more students, depending on occupancy.
The Residences at 7th has transformed Southwestern's campus from a model urban law school campus into an even more inviting environment reminiscent of an inspiring, small liberal arts college setting. The living-learning village created by on-campus housing is a natural extension of the student-centered approach that is the hallmark of Southwestern.
The units are fully furnished with amenities such as full Energy Star kitchens, in-unit washer/dryers and wireless internet access. The facilities feature a security system, on-site business center, private study rooms, a sun deck and secured indoor parking for residents, as well as a large landscaped central courtyard and a spacious two-story lobby-lounge, among other features and services.
The level of architectural and interior design reflect the richness of the law school's historic Bullocks Wilshire Building while incorporating state-of-the-art amenities and contemporary finishes, and incorporates current environmental sustainability practices.
"I couldn't think of a better complex to live in. The views are wonderful, the building is brand new, and the fully furnished apartments save students hundreds if not thousands in expenses. I was in complete awe when first seeing the complex, and the price made it even more attractive. The best part is it only takes me three minutes to go from my apartment right to my classroom. What more could you ask for, living in one of the busiest cities in America?"
