Southwestern has integrated a law school emergency announcement service called SW-Alert to enhance the emergency notification system already in place (including email, lobby plasma screen announcements, and website postings). This service is available to students, faculty and staff and allows the law school to send text messages to the personal cellular telephones of participants subscribing to the services.
Participation in SW-Alert is voluntary, and students, faculty and staff may enroll in this service online. Note that participants will need to check with their cell phone plan for any fees that might be charged for receiving text messages.
