2023 Southwestern Homecoming Celebration

Southwestern Law School, in collaboration with the Southwestern Alumni Association Board, is excited to welcome everyone back to campus! It's been far too long, and we hope to reconnect with you and allow you to reconnect with each other in person.
Alumni, students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend starting at 4:00 p.m. Adult guests are welcome to attend at 4:00 p.m. Children are invited to attend starting at 5:00 p.m.
This Homecoming celebration will have something for everyone!
Join us for:
- Guided Historic Tours
- Alumni Reception — for 21 years old and up
- The Ultimate Video Game Bus
- Photo Booth
- Face painters (Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos)
- Psychic
- Tarot Card and Palm Reader
- Strolling LED dancer
- Astrologist
- Henna Artist
- Silhouette Artist
- DJ and Line Dancing
- Children's costume competition (prizes for Best Costume, Most Fierce Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Beautiful Costume, Most Original Costume)
- Trick-or-treating with booths sponsored by student organizations
- Kids' craft tables (special coloring book pages and various Halloween-themed and Dia de Los Muertos-themed crafts)
- In-N-Out food truck, Kogi food truck, and Glazed-N-Confused mini donuts food truck (each guest will receive one ticket for each truck)
- Pizza, popcorn, and cotton candy
- Magic show
- The Master Mentalist
4:00 - 6:00 p.m. — Check-in
Get your name badge, wristband for entry, and food tickets. After checking in, stop to watch a short slide show on Southwestern's recent accomplishments and activities.

- Guided Historic Tour Times
Built in 1929, the former department store for the stars is a stunning, masterly crafted Art Deco treasure that occupies a special place in Los Angeles history. Today, the Bullocks Wilshire building houses Southwestern's law library, Office of the President and Dean, faculty offices, the Biederman Institute for Entertainment and Media Law, and more. We also have been building our collection of Bullocks Wilshire artifacts, including vintage fashion items. Be one of the first to see these items on display.

Food trucks, activities, music, and more for adults and children. Also, meet leaders of our Honors Programs and other student organizations.

Alumni can also meet students affiliated with several Southwestern student organizations and all of the Honors Programs.
Attendees who bring minor children must remain with their children at all times. We will not have sitter services available.
During the carnival, the reception for guests 21+ will be running in the nearby Student Residence Courtyard and will feature adult beverages and additional food items. Attendees may not bring children into the reception or bring alcohol into the Promenade, which is public property.
5:00 - 8:30 p.m. — Alumni Reception
Students, faculty, staff, and guests who are at least 21 are also welcome to attend.

Nader Hanna is a professional mind reader and hypnotist based in Los Angeles. Known for his mind-bending feats of ESP and hypnosis, Nader has a unique ability to engage his audience in a way that will leave them in wonder and awe.

The Master Mentalist Show featuring Nader Hanna and the Magic Show will undoubtedly be two of the highlights of the evening. Please be advised that seats for this show are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We highly recommend arriving 15 minutes early to secure your spot and experience performances that will leave you astounded.
