Michael Garcia

Michael Garcia began as Director of Campus Safety and Security in November of 2022. Michael has over 30 years of law enforcement and management experience in Southern California. His experience includes Emergency Management, Community Policing, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, Internal Investigations, Training, Supervision, and Management. Michael prides himself on building trusting relationships and effectively collaborating with all stakeholders to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Michael has implemented several campus safety and security enhancements since joining Southwestern, and he continues to develop a comprehensive long-term security plan for the law school community.
