"Superb analytical and writing skills are essential to becoming an effective lawyer, regardless of the practice area. However, to be a successful lawyer, students must also develop elite professionalism skills. One of my most important roles as a law professor is to teach students how to foster respectful relationships, advocate with integrity, and handle adversity gracefully."

Her teaching portfolio includes courses in Legal Writing and Analysis, Negotiation, Mediation Advocacy, Contracts, Property, Legal Research, and Community Property. She was nominated for the Hemphill-Wells New Professor Teaching Award in 2007 and was the inaugural recipient of the Anahid Gharakhanian Excellence in Teaching Award in 2020. In 2024, she received the Professor of the Year Award for LAWS Faculty.
