In celebration of Professor Beth Caldwell's book, Deported Americans: Life After Deportation to Mexico, this webinar will feature a host of scholars, experts, practitioners, and activists all in the area and field of immigration law. 

This webinar will highlight some of the topics and themes discussed in Professor Beth Caldwell's book, including the immigration deportation process and its deficiencies; the social and economic realities these deportees face in Mexico; the detrimental effect on marriages and separated families; and, lastly, the proposed reevaluation and reform of the immigration system in the United States.
