Southwestern Celebrates Pride Month 2022!
As Pride Month comes to a close, let’s celebrate the progress achieved since the Stonewall uprising 52 years ago, honor those who gave so much to fight for LGBTQ+ equity, and consider the challenges ahead.
The ongoing struggle for equity and inclusion is central to our mission at Southwestern, and as attorneys and attorneys in the making, you are essential agents in actualizing these values into outcomes and change. From helping ensure the 1964 Civil Rights Act protected gay, lesbian, and transgender employees from discrimination to defending health care protections for transgender patients, future lawyers like you are on the frontlines of the fight for human rights and creating a more just and equitable society.
