Adjunct Professor and Judge Yvette M. Palazuelos Honored by Latina Lawyers Bar Association

On October 14, Judge Yvette M. Palazuelos, who teaches Trial Advocacy as a member Southwestern’s adjunct faculty, was honored by the Latina Lawyers Bar Association’s 19th Annual Awards & Scholarship Dinner at the Biltmore Hotel. Judge Palazuelos received the Francesca Flores Community Service Award, which is presented to a Latina who epitomizes the spirit, tenacity and vision of Ms. Flores, who served working, low-income Latinas throughout her life.
